GIDPC was founded in 2021 to transfer the academic capability of Seoul National University's Green Infrastructure Lab (GE Lab) into industry practice.

Use engineering and AI to quantify the disaster-response capacity of green infrastructure and strengthen urban climate resilience.

Establish 'green-infrastructure disaster prevention' as a discipline and set a Korean standard for climate-crisis response.

Junsuk Kang
Professor at the Department of Landscape Architecture & Rural Systems Engineering, SNU. Years of research in urban micro-meteorology, hydrology, AI surrogate models, street-tree safety, and rural AI/sensor applications.
